This position is part of the Future Learning Initiatve at ETH Zurich and aims to improve student learning in microfluidcs and lab-on-a-chip applications through augmented reality tools. It also entails cutting edge reserach on tumor-on-a-chip devices.
We are seeking a talented postdoctoral researcher for research in lab-on-a-chip applications and the support of a new practical lab course on microfluidics using Augmented Reality tools. A newly designed AR program has been established that will be applied in a practical course in microfluidics for tissue engineering. The project is highly interdisciplinary and the candidate will work with scientists in computer sciences, learning sciences and biomedicine. Furthermore, research on novel tumor-on-a-chip devices will be carried out.
Start date: from 1st of August
The applicant should be passionate about teaching and excited to include new technologies, ideally bringing expertise in computer programming. Furthermore, the applicant should be highly knowledgeable and experienced in microfluidics, microfluidic device fabrication techniques, tissue engineering and cell culture as well as computational fluid modeling.
