The Cardiovascular Molecular Imaging Group at the Departement of Biomedicine of the University Hospital of Basel, Switzerland, studies molecular imaging and targeted drug delivery in cardiovascular disease with site targeted ultrasound contrast agents. For our international team we are looking for a PhD student. The position is open starting January 1st 2021.

Your position

  • you will be responsible for your own project within the research group
  • carrying out of experiments with contrast agents on cell cultures and in small animals including preparation of contrast agents, ultrasound imaging, histology and immunohistochemistry

    • Your profile

  • master degree in medicine, biology or biomedical engineering
  • for candidates with an MD, entrance into the MD-PhD program is an option ()
  • experience in small animal surgery and FELASA Level B (LTK1) training is desired
