Job description
As a successful candidate, you will perform collaborative research to study fundamental quantum optical phenomena and their applications in quantum information processing. This research is carried out in the context of the project “Quantum Photonics with Microwaves in Superconducting Circuits” funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. Your main research goal will be the development of novel coupling, control and detection schemes in circuit quantum electrodynamics architectures and their use for the generation and characterization of quantum many-body states of microwave radiation.
