The Procurement Head of Integrations and Separations is searching for a curious, “eager to learn” candidate for a 6 months internship in Switzerland, Basel to play an active role of the Procurement activities related to our acquisitions in different stages. The 6 months working together will offer a deep, on-the-job experience, and lots of learning about Pharma M&A Procurement in practice. In the role our candidate will have the opportunity to understand and practice the operational, tactical and also the strategic layers of the job. Despite the role is in Procurement, the candidate will have the full opportunity to understand and experience the end-to-end M&A process and interact with the majority of participant functions in this process.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement Separation and Integration this role will: 1.Provide support in Project Management 2.Coordinating the various workstreams to enable concise communications within Procurement 3.Support development of M&A Procurement Processes 4.Build Procurement proficiency in M&A area
Minimum requirements• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Economics, Finance to related business subject English • Curious, eager to learn and ready to work in a dynamic, demanding but very inspiring environment • Have a strong command in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and MS Outlook • Have good communication skills, fluent in English – in writing and speaking • Able to work in team and individually as well – obviously, the adequate support and guidance provided • Preferred financial, commercial, legal studies - the role does not require pharma experience • Any experience with procurement, contract management, and project management is a plus
