Your tasks

  • Design of new programming languages, runtimes, and type systems
  • Code analysis and empirical studies on software development
  • Consistency and fault tolerance in distributed systems
  • Software engineering for artificial intelligence
  • Languages and middleware for distributed event processing and realtime analytics
  • Language-based software security

    • Your profile

  • University degree in computer science or mathematics, or a comparable subject
  • The ideal candidate has a Programming Language, Software Engineering or Distributed Systems background. Depending on the specific target project, candidates with a Security background are also welcome
  • Good communication skills in spoken and written English
  • Strong skills in high-level object-oriented programming languages and ability to work independently in programming non-trivial systems
