Your tasks

Synthesizing and characterizing CO2-reduction electrocatalysts based on non-noble metals (e.g., Ni, Fe) using an in house developed preparation approach

Determining the electrochemical performance of these materials for the reduction of CO2 in liquid-fed and co-electrolysis cells

Drawing relations between these catalytic features and the samples' composition, as derived from in situ X-Ray spectroscopic measurements

Publish the results of these works in well regarded journals

Your profile

You hold a university degree (MSc or equivalent) in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or a related field. You have hands-on experience in electrochemistry, enjoy practical work using advanced instrumentation and like to conduct research in a team. You possess very good communication skills in English. Welcome assesst include experience in analytical- and/or radiation-methods (e.g., gas chromatography, spectroscopy, X-Ray diffraction), and/or with design software (e.g., Inventor)
