Job Description Joining the Health care systems Evidence (HSE) Team in Value, Access and commercial development team as an intern provides a unique opportunity to gain insight into how real-world data can support scientific knowledge, best practice and improved outcomes for patients. This role supports the Cardio, Renal and Metabolism portfolio indications and strategy with HSE.

HSE can leverage large data sets to better understand diseases and patient experience throughout a product’s lifecycle. Questions addressed with Real World Data (RWD) are often related to burden of the disease, drug utilization, safety, effectiveness, and to demonstrating the value of interventions to patients and the Health care systems.

Major Accountabilities include:
• Support Implementation of RWD analytics projects and studies
- Prepare project plans, e.g. including process flow, milestone tables, decision points for feasibility assessments, go/no-go criteria
- Prepare key project and study meetings, e.g. including slides for project updates and discussions
- Support project tracking and reporting
- Ensure flawless execution of studies by vendors
- Support development of study materials such as study concept sheets, protocols and final study reports.
• Global level support
- Plan and lead activities that improve internal information sharing
- Consolidate internal and external evidence generation to ensure optimal leveraging of data for external communication
- Contribute to the development of external scientific publications
- Create communication materials to promote the value of HSE to internal and external stakeholders.
• Country level support
- Support best practice sharing across countries
• Contribute to the development of department-level standards, tools and templates

Minimum requirements Education
The successful candidate will have completed a Master’s Degree in one of the following disciplines or similar:
• Pharmacy
• Epidemiology
• Health Economics and Outcomes Research
• Master of Health Sciences
• Health Care Systems
• Market Access
• Health Care Administration
• Health Care Management

• English language skills
• Independent and Action oriented - Excellent organization skills, ensuring delivery to target and expectations.
• Customer focus - Cares about health care systems needs and expectations, dealing with them in a timely fashion
• Informing - Provides relevant and timely updates to stakeholders, ensuring issues are raised early
• Managing/measuring work - Ensures plans are kept up to date and status is regularly reported.
• Perseverance - Skills in driving outcomes to meet customer needs, with an understanding of how to overcome challenges to meet tight schedules
• Strong written/verbal communication skills. Highly effective at providing input at meetings, discussions and activities covering aspects of research data management and analysis on research projects
• Strong team spirit
