Co-Head of SEA (80-100%) (w/m/d) in Zürich

As Co-Head of SEA you are responsible for the strategy together with our second Co-Head and in collaboration with the Director Performance Marketing to pursue your vision for the further development of the SEA Unit with a lot of passion and energy. Working with the second Co-Head, you will hold a joint unit leadership and are responsible for the international section of the Team Managers and teams. For topics such as finance, resource planning, service and people development, you will work in close collaboration with the second Co-Head. In close cooperation with your team, you will ensure that our clients are always satisfied and our relationships with them are further developed. In addition, you role model our values into the unit: be scientific, to pioneer and to show Umpff and act according to our leadership imperatives (demonstrating self-awareness, empowering and developing others, inclusive leadership & fairness, drive performance & results). 

Your responsibilities will include...

...the operational, personnel and financial responsibility, the strategic development of the unit in the areas of SEA as well as the management of team managers. You think entrepreneurially at all times and follow the latest trends and innovations - always with a view to further optimizing the unit setup, expanding the service offering and analyzing and identifying interesting opportunities in cooperation with various stakeholders. Externally, you represent the unit at professional events and internally towards the extended management. Together with your team managers, you constantly improve and optimize processes and working methods with a view to achieving the highest service quality for our clients. You manage cross-unit SEA projects in interdisciplinary teams and ensure cross-functional collaboration and transparency. In addition, you will act as a point of contact for your employees on HR-related issues or represent them to your HR Business Partner. 

You...

• have 5+ years of experience in an agency or in-house and are proficient in the use of common tools (e.g. Google Ads, Google Analytics, SA 360).
• have leadership experience (3+ years) or have led teams in large client projects
• are familiar with other disciplines beyond SEA (e.g. SEO, E-Commerce, Social Media)
• you are self-confident in dealing directly with clients and have good negotiating skills in difficult contractual discussions
• are able to recognize and understand complex interrelationships and to derive concrete strategies and instructions for action from them
• act in an entrepreneurial manner, make decisions and are able to represent them to your team and superiors
• you have a University degree and are fluent in English
