The Finance Operations team is managing a number of finance processes like review of the distribution contracts, booking incoming payments and Credit notes, Revenue Provisions, etc. as well as managing general finance matters like funding of the representative offices, review of material month end balances, etc. in a close collaboration with the local finance teams. As a first point of contact for the countries, the candidate will not only get to know many people and processes but learn a lot about Pharma finance and export and acquire useful hands on experience in accounting and reporting.
Major Accountabilities: A. Manage finance operations processes for a few (own) countries, like:
• Booking Credit & Debit notes and applying incoming payments • Manage accruals for sales reductions, sales deferrals, bad debts, etc. • Support the Month-End Closing activities with account reconciliation, cost centers maintenances, etc.
B. Review and update of Finance Operations’ documentation
C. Support Fin Ops Projects, update Fin Ops SharePoint, etc.
Start of this internship mid August, duration one year
Minimum requirements• Bachelor or Masters degree in finance, ideally with some experience in accounting or reporting • Good business acumen and logical thinking, fast learner, • Responsible and accountable • Good interpersonal skills & team player • Good communication skills, • Affinity with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Experience with Data management and data analytics (MS Access, SharePoint, MS PowerApps, MS Power Automate, BI, etc.) will be useful • Previous internship(s) or experience is an advantage • Proficiency English another language is an advantage
