Studierende finden an der ETH Zürich ein Umfeld, das eigenständiges Denken fördert, Forschende ein Klima, das zu Spitzenleistungen inspiriert.
The Organising Committee of the lecture series “Gender and Science” (Science in Perspective, D-GESS) is looking for a student research assistant who will support the organisation and implementation of the weekly lecture series in the fall semester of 2022.
The lecture series offers an introduction to the relationships between gender and science, with a focus on the specific intersections with the sciences taught at ETH. You can find the program of last year’s first lecture series here: It is organised by the Society for Wom*n in Social Sciences and Humanities (SWiSH) and Nadja El Kassar.
You will start on September 1st, 2022, and will work on this project until the end of the semester in December 2022. We envisage a workload of approximately 10-20%. Payment is according to the base rate of research assistants set by ETH Zurich’s Executive Board (28CHF/h).
The Gender & Science lecture series is a unique and exciting new course offered at ETH. Assisting the lecture series provides you with the opportunity to learn more about this field and get to know senior researchers from various disciplines on a personal level. You will collaborate with the lecturer, PD Dr. Nadja El Kassar, and interact with the Organizing Committee of the lecture series. Work times and locations are flexible, apart from the weekly lecture slot on Tuesdays from 12h-14h (at ETH Zentrum).
ETH Zurich is a family-friendly employer with excellent working conditions. You can look forward to an exciting working environment, cultural diversity and attractive offers and benefits.
