Talent Kick

Talent Kick is a swiss-wide entrepreneurial program that supports students in forming interdisciplinary teams across Swiss universities and getting hands-on experience as an entrepreneur during their studies.

Job description

Your responsibilities as Event and Partnership manager would include:

  • Organize events (program bootcamps, events, workshops, external conferences, and fairs) and help team and cohorts engage with the community
  • Explore opportunities for events and workshops in the ecosystem, initiate and lead your own projects 
  • Manage and build collaborations with universities and students organizations, accelerator programs, innovation units, and more 
  • Make sure our partners are involved in our events and help them to make the most of a partnership with Talent Kick
  • Design and run workshops in collaboration with the team
  • Coordinate communications with external parties, program cohorts, and teams, and the Talent Kick team
  • Collaborate with leading researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry players
  • Link different stakeholders to create win-win situations and an active community and network around Talent Kick
  • Connect people across the community to facilitate meaningful collaborations and greater attendance at events, workshops and programs
  • Develop and maintain our CRM tool
  • Support marketing activities and the collection of marketing material like photos, videos, text, statements & interviews 
  • Collect and organize feedback & insights and support the team on special projects
Your profile

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor or Master's Student with a passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology
  • Open-mindedness and drive to proactively identify and create new opportunities
  • Excellent organizational skills, a hands-on and can-do attitude as well as team skills
  • Great communication skills and fluency in English (required) and in French and/or German (one of the two required) – oral, written, and in social media language
  • A connection to the Romandie or swiss-german entrepreneurial ecosystem and/or previous experience in student organizations or organizing events is a plus!
  • Ability to manage smaller projects independently, responsible, and being thorough in handling data
  • Interest in task variety, enjoying a fast-paced environment, curious, willing to learn, and excited to evolve with us and the tasks
  • Experience with event and partnership management

We offer

We are flexible in terms of working hours:

  • If you’re looking for a part-time job: minimum of 15 hours of work per week (possibility to work more during semester breaks), for 4 months or longer.
  • If you’re looking for an internship: full-time intern (41 hours of work per week), with a minimum duration of 4 months.
  • And we offer local flexibility through a combination of remote work and office days
