Prof. Sereina Riniker's group for Computational Chemistry at the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry is interested in the development of methodology for classical molecular dynamics simulations and cheminformatics, and in the application to address challenging biological and chemical questions.
The research project will focus on the investigation of the dynamics of protein-protein complexes in collaboration with industry partners, and involves two positions. The preferred starting date for both is early 2023.
Applicants for the postdoctoral position should hold a Ph.D. degree in (computational) chemistry, biochemistry, or biophysics with a strong background in molecular dynamics simulations. Experience with application-oriented projects and good programming skills (Python) are advantageous.
Applicants for the position as doctoral student should hold a Master degree in computational chemistry, chemistry, or biochemistry. Experience with molecular dynamics simulations and good programming skills (Python) are advantageous.
We welcome self-motivated candidates with outstanding academic record, excellent communication skills and professional integrity to apply.
Group members will not only have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge resources in a collaborative environment but also to co-work with industry partners, stimulating creative ideas and exploring new research avenues.
We look forward to receiving your online application with the following documents:
