For our global headquarters in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, we are looking for a

Project Manager Product PR – 12 MONTHS

(M/F/X – 100%)

The Project Manager Product PR is working with a team of 5 PR colleagues and is reporting to the Department Manager Corporate PR. The responsibilities range from strategic topics like defining product PR together with the team, project management as well as text editing, proofreading and translation work. You will work in an international environment with all IWC markets and respond to national and international media inquiries.

Duration: 12 months

Start: February 2023

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working closely with Department Manager Corporate PR to define product PR and sustainability communication plan as well as key story angles
• Collaborating with all IWC markets to facilitate the execution of agreed PR plans, providing all necessary assets (texts and images)
• Writing, reading and proofreading press releases and PR texts or other media communications such as interviews, statements, or intranet articles, e.g.
• Preparation and organization of press interviews with the IWC Chief Marketing Officer and Sustainability Chair
• Coordinate legal approval, translation work (with the help of an agency) and upload on the brand press page
• Responding to national and international media inquiries on all product, corporate and sustainability interview requests
• Create and update PowerPoint presentations on a regular basis
• Monitor the effectiveness of materials provided to the markets and journalists to generate reports on each Product PR & sustainability campaign
• Support the PR team on location during PR events such as Watches & Wonders and handling of media
• Help the PR team in the daily business including administrative tasks (SAP, invoices, watch shipments), PowerPoint presentations, reporting

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in journalism, communication, or comparable studies
• Very good written and spoken English - German, French and other languages would be an advantage
• Passion for both writing and watchmaking, as well as knowledge of the brand
• Excellent writing skills and first professional experience in journalism or PR (ideally luxury goods, fashion, advertising / agency, etc.)
• Organizational talent and strong communication skills as well as the ability to work under pressure
• Experience in the luxury industry would be a plus
• Excellent PC skills (MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
