The Chair of Work and Organizational Psychology (Prof. Gudela Grote) is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position to contribute to the ongoing research program on how new technology impacts work and organizations with a special focus on AI.
The position is available from June 1, 2023 (a later starting date can be negotiated), and is initially funded for two years, with the possibility of extension for another year.
Technology drives work design, in oftentimes unpredicted and not always desirable ways. The research to be conducted should help to foster accountable design and use of AI in view of creating high quality jobs and effective work processes.
Involvement in existing projects, for instance on explainable AI for medical teams and railway operators, and collaboration with PhD students in those projects is expected, as well as the creation of a personal research portfolio which combines prior own research with the research opportunities provided by this position.
The research group is well connected to leading scholars in the field and the postdoctoral researcher can profit from this network and the inspiring context created by a top university.
We look forward to receiving your online application by March 15, 2023.
