What you'll do
You will work with our research team to further develop a prototype for replenishment planning in the retail industry. You will look into an optimization problem to determine order quantities for a set of products with respect to multiple constraints and cost functions.
Your main task will be to investigate different solution strategies, i.e. solving the problem holistically vs. a sequence of sub-problems, with regards to solution quality and runtime.
