Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will support initiatives that help our customers drive their decarbonization projects and contribute to a more sustainable future. Through the ABB Discovery Program, you will embark on a structured, practice-oriented introduction designed to build your confidence in working independently while becoming a valuable member of inclusive teams. Start date of the program is October 1, 2025. The position will be open for applications end of March 2025. All applicants will receive an application status update in May. The selection process is taking place in May/June 2025.You will be mainly accountable for: • Driving product and project management by supporting the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within the assigned area.• Developing business acumen through hands-on involvement in business development initiatives, market analysis, and strategic planning.• Managing projects effectively, ensuring the successful execution of assigned tasks and projects within the given timeframe.• Building a strong professional network by engaging in cross-functional collaboration, team activities, and social events within ABB.

Qualifications for the role

• You hold a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related engineering field from a university or applied sciences university, and you will have completed your studies before October 1, 2025
• You have an interest in the area of Project Management, Product Management, and/or Business Development and are eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• You have a maximum of three years of professional work experience by the start date of October 1, 2025.
• You are at ease communicating in English at an excellent level, and advanced German skills are a plus.
• You are analytical, solution-focused, and adaptable, with a collaborative, proactive, and innovative mindset that helps you thrive in diverse environments.
• You hold authorization to work in Switzerland (at least a B permit).
