During this

internship

, as a member of the Office IT Team, you will provide 2nd level IT support to internal and external users. You will be responsible to interact with internal and external partners and provide IT support for our offices in Zürich, Biel and Renens as well as our stores in the area of Zürich. Additionally, you will be involved in many interesting IT migration projects.

You will learn how an information technology system works and how it is build. You will learn how to setup servers, clients, applications, network components and how to use client / server based administration tools such as Active Directory, GPO, SCCM, WSUS, MDT and many other interesting tools in the IT field.

Your duties

• Prepare computers/laptops/phones and all relevant business applications for new users
• Setup new infrastructure elements such as printers, video conference systems, cisco switches and routers, cash systems and many other nice tools
• Provide coaching and mentoring on the functionality, applicability and usability to all users
• Search for opportunities to improve current processes and tools provided to end users
• Write and update technical documents, procedures and user guidelines whenever necessary
• Work on-site and remotely to identify, troubleshoot, resolve and document technical incidents
• Support users and troubleshoot issues via the phone and on-side
• Update our Asset Management database
• Work on IT projects and special tasks within the Office IT team

What you bring

• Basic knowledge on a client / server infrastructure
• Basic knowledge on IT network elements such as switches, routers and firewalls
• Good knowledge on smart phones and IP phones
• Basic programming and scripting knowledge
• Knowledge in end user hardware and software
• Ability to learn and assimilate new processes and concepts quickly
• Drivers License
• German and English, French or Italian is a plus
