Aufgaben

Fähigkeiten

• Studium in Ingenieurwesen, Wirtschaft oder Datenwissenschaft erforderlich.
• Gute MS Office Kenntnisse und Erfahrung mit Datenanalyse.

Internship in Network Solutions (limited 6-12 months, 50-100%, all genders)

You will support the Network Solutions team to improve the data-, system-, method- and process-landscape for network and schedule optimization within Lufthansa Group.

• Participating in and supporting network and schedule optimization involving advanced optimization systems and methods for Lufthansa Group hub airlines (Austrian, Brussels, Lufthansa, Swiss)
• Perform network optimization runs with existing tools
• Testing, analyzing and challenging results of new network optimization tools
• Preparing and evaluating network business cases with established tools, reports and data analysis
• Conduct and support proof of concepts and prototypes as part of requirements engineering
• Preparing and presenting reports on current trends and developments
• The main focus of your internship can be tailored to your particular interests and strengths

• University degree in engineering, economics, business administration, data science or similar education
• At ease with statistics and figures, flair for data processing and analysis
• Experience in compiling presentations, esp. In terms of visualizing data
• Very good English, spoken and written. German and other languages of advantage
• Very good MS Office skills (Excel and Powerpoint), further data tools and languages of advantage (e.g. Python, R, SQL)
• Strong conceptual, structural and analytical thinking
• Engaged and self-driven team player able to perform within a multi-cultural environment
• Strong interest in the aviation industry
