Internship in Data Insights & Automation for Aviation Risk (limited 6-9 months, 70-100%, all genders)

Our Data Insights & Analytics Team coordinates analytics and digitalization processes relevant to the Protection Management conscience of SWISS, focusing on aviation safety, security, and compliance risks. Join us to craft dashboards that drive decisions, collaborate with teams to solve real challenges, and identify smart automation opportunities.

You will support risk-related decision-making across SWISS’s operational domains through interactive visualizations and practical process automation. You’ll work with stakeholders to turn their needs into dashboards, help oversee our analytics portfolio, and spot opportunities to simplify workflows.

• Dashboard Development Build Tableau dashboards focusing on clean design and user-friendly navigation
• Data Pipelines Collaborate with data engineers to review Azure Data Factory flows, address source issues, and maintain dashboard data integrity
• Business Process Automation Identify repetitive tasks, explore automation options, and suggest improvements.
• Requirements Support Gather stakeholder input and translate into automation needs or visualizations
• Documentation Record processes in Confluence and assist with team project portfolio management

• Master's students or graduates with analytical focus and strong foundational background (Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Computer Science etc.)
• Experience creating interactive dashboards, eagerness to develop advanced features
• Interest in data pipeline architecture and motivation to build data engineering knowledge
• Curious about process improvements and interested in learning automation approaches
• Strong organizational skills with ability to maintain clear process documentation
• Self-motivated and reliable
• Excellent English communication skills
