Position Summary 

Within Contract Manufacturing Organization Team for Coffee Machines in Operations, the Platform & Connectivity team oversees the full Product life cycle management to sustain embedded system HW/SW, ensure electrical compliance, connectivity validation, integration and performance of digital features.

We are looking for an

Electronics & Connectivity Intern

to support our dynamic team at Nespresso HQ in Vevey. This 6-month internship focuses on electronics and connectivity in coffee machines, offering hands-on experience in lifecycle management of electronic components embedded in our B2B & B2C coffee machines, and milk appliance. You will contribute to maintaining and evolving Hardware & Firmware (HW/FW) systems, including PCBA, displays, and connectivity modules (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Modem) throughout the product life cycle.

A Day in the Life of an Electronics & Connectivity Intern

• Assist in the maintenance and update of electronic HW/FW for connectivity
• Manage component dual sourcing and obsolescence management
• Assess alternative components specifications
• Participate in validation activities including test plan execution and documentation validation activities
• Contribute to performance improvements through connectivity/telemetry data analytics
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Quality, Compliance, Procurement, Product Owners) and external partners (Development partners, Suppliers & Manufacturers)

What will make you successful

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Master's degree in Electronics from EPFL/ETH/HES or similar
• Knowledge of embedded systems and PCBA design
• Familiarity with connectivity technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, modem), telemetry, and IoT
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Curious, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced global environment
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus
