Training Coordinator

U.S. Embassy – Bern

The U.S. Embassy Bern is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as for its Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC). As a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Training and Logistics Support coordinator the incumbent will work closely with the Training and Budget Manager to perform internal administration and logistics support tasks, manage Foreign Military Sales (FMS) training cases, and provide liaison services for military and Embassy engagements.

Key responsibilities:

Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Training Case Management:

Handle Requests for Information, Invitational Travel Orders, Course Reservations, Letters of Request and Amendments, Mobile Training Teams, and other related tasks.

Prepare FMS training and financial reports required by the United States European Command (EUCOM).

Logistics and Administrative Support:

Perform internal administration and logistics support tasks to ensure smooth operations with the ODC.

Liaison Services and DV Support:

Provide liaison services and Distinguished Visitor (DV) support for military and Embassy engagements.

Collaborate with other Embassy offices, including Defense Attaché Office (DAO), and Regional Security Office (RSO), to fulfill duties effectively.

Training and Supervision:

The incumbent will receive turnover training and is expected to operate with minimal supervision while interpreting and applying applicable rules and regulations.
