The Europe/Africa Office, situated in Zurich, is part of the Rotary International Secretariat with its headquarters in Evanston, Illinois/USA. The mission of our 40 employees is to provide efficient and high-quality service to Rotarians in Europe and Africa and support them in attaining the objectives of Rotary.

Your Contributions to the Team

  • You review, authorize and close grant applications.
  • You collect Best Practices, which allow you to provide extensive support to members about their foundation engagement.
  • You engage yourself in teamwork and actively contribute to internal workgroups.
  • You design and deliver presentations for various training events.

What you bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and at least 3-5 years of experience in a customer centric role
  • Proficiency in both German and English is essential. Other European languages will be considered an asset
  • Experience directly related to the administration of non-profit grant programs
  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking
  • Good organisational skills and excellent MS Office skills
  • Keen interest in, and familiarity with the culture of the assigned regions
