Tasks

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, including Software Engineers, Requirements Engineers, Software Architects and UX Designers
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment
• Develop and implement best practices and standards for high-quality software solutions
• Provide technical direction and support for successful project delivery
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to achieve business goals
• Ensure all software solutions meet the highest standards of quality, performance and security
• Manage team resources effectively including hiring, training and performance management
• Identify and mitigate risks in the development process to ensure timely delivery
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical matters and report to senior management

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a software engineering environment
• Deep knowledge of software development methodologies and practices; proficiency in Java, Angular, Spring, Docker, OpenShift, Jenkins, Git and SQL
• Strategic thinking and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with the logistics or supply chain industry is advantageous
• Good knowledge of English
