The IT organization is seeking senior leadership, skilled designers, and energetic developers who share our vision that science serves a greater purpose in improving human health.
Our program provides interns with 1-on-1 hands-on programming opportunities through our dedicated mentors and exposure to cutting edge programming techniques. Interns work on their own projects with the guidance of a full-time NIBR engineer.
NIBR's projects cover many tech stacks, many programming languages, and both biological and non-biological applications that allow us to closely match your specific interests with one of our teams.
As a software development intern, you will participate in professional development: • Application project: designing and implementing matched project; learning the industry standards and popular implementation details; getting exposure to the latest technologies, applicable to many other tech companies • Tool development: learning about all open projects from experts; showcasing your results to the broader NIBR community in the form of show and tells • Professional development: understanding the tech world as applied to life sciences; cultivating a network of fellow interns and NIBR engineers; gaining insight into how our community channeled their scientific interests and programming backgrounds into various career objectives
