Position description

The KAIZEN & Continuous Improvement program is part of the Business Development organization, a direct report to the CEO. Business Development manages cross-divisional projects, develops the company strategy, is responsible for organization development and carries out various market, and benchmark analyses. KAIZEN is the continuous improvement program of SWISS and supports departments throughout the organization in achieving their goals.

As an intern, you will support the program and be involved in KAIZEN optimization workshops.  You have the opportunity to learn about processes in various departments at SWISS and be a part of a dynamic team influencing change.

Your Duties
  • Take responsibility for the KAIZEN office in day-to-day activities, administration and ad-hoc requests
  • Communicate KAIZEN news through internal communication channels & maintaining the intranet site
  • Prepare, support and co-moderate KAIZEN optimization workshops
  • Report on KAIZEN achievements from workshops
  • Support in the implementation of a new program concept & structure
  • Take initiative to explore various topics related to continuous improvement and change management that could be implemented to further the KAIZEN program
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a Design-related field
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Quick analytical thinker with good conceptual skills
  • A self-starter with a high level of creativity, commitment and responsibility who takes ownership to the end result
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Good team player with strong communication and social skills
  • Knowledge of Kaizen/Lean, Design Thinking or Agile principles would be an asset

CHF 2'500.- per month for Bachelor degree / Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education
CHF 3'000.- per month for Master degree
