Would you like to complete your apprenticeship in a broad, rapidly evolving and constantly changing professional field? The apprenticeship in platform development is varied, diverse and challenging.

Tasks

As an IT specialist (EFZ) specialising in platform development, you will plan and develop physical or virtual server systems and server services. You will manage and maintain existing systems, whether on-premises or in the cloud. You will ensure that the systems deliver the required performance, security and availability. You configure networks and ensure their security and availability. An entire company relies on your knowledge and expertise to ensure that business operations run smoothly.

Requirements

The ability to work independently and systematically, logical and abstract thinking skills, quick comprehension and the ability to make connections, a good visualisation ability, a strong ability to concentrate, perseverance, the ability to work in a team and an enthusiasm for experimentation.

• Completion of lower secondary education at Level A or at a district school, or an equivalent qualification
• Very good grades (at least a grade 5) at Level A in the subjects of natural sciences, computer science and mathematics. Equally good grades in language subjects (German at least B2 and English PET would be an advantage)
