Practical experience on the way to university

After two years, you'll complete a practice-oriented training programme that will secure you a place in the world of work on the one hand, and direct entry to a university of applied sciences on the other. If, after completing your federal baccalaureate, you'd like to gain some work experience or use your vocational baccalaureate to gain in-depth knowledge of platform development, you've come to the right place.

Tasks

As an IT specialist (EFZ) specialising in platform development, you will plan and develop physical or virtual server systems and server services. You will manage and maintain existing systems, whether on-premises or in the cloud. You will ensure that the systems deliver the required performance, security and availability. You configure networks and ensure their security and availability. An entire company relies on your knowledge and expertise to ensure that business operations run smoothly.

Requirements

The ability to work independently and systematically, logical and abstract thinking skills, quick comprehension and the ability to make connections, a good visualisation ability, a strong ability to concentrate, perseverance, the ability to work in a team and an enthusiasm for experimentation.

• Successful completion of federal baccalaureate
• Successful completion of an EFZ qualification, including the successful completion of vocational baccalaureate
