Your tasks

During your apprenticeship, you will

• receive all kinds of goods and check their quantity and condition against the accompanying documents
• organise the unloading of goods such as food raw materials or packaging materials, sort them and store them appropriately in pre-allocated locations
• ensure that the goods are stored under optimal conditions and, for example, regulate temperature and humidity
• prepare deliveries, perform packing and draw up accompanying documents such as delivery notes or customs declarations
• Load lorries, operate forklift trucks and secure the cargo to prevent it from shifting
• Optimise the internal flow of information and materials from Procurement through to sales

What you bring with you

• At the start of the apprenticeship, you will have a good secondary school leaving certificate or a Mittlere Reife qualification with good marks in the core subjects
• An interest in logistics and business management processes
• Commitment and reliability, as well as attention to detail and accuracy
