Position description

The Network & Market Analytics team is responsible for the reporting, tools, methods and KPIs within the Network & Partnership Management department of the Lufthansa Group Hub Airlines: SWISS, Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa.

In your role within Network Management, you will support the team in reporting, monitoring and analyzing the network and fleet reports on the one hand and in implementing various automation projects on the other hand. The Network Management teams in the different hubs are responsible for the continuous development and optimization of the Hub Airlines’ route networks and aircraft fleets.

Your Duties
  • Updating, monitoring and analyzing network & fleet-related reports
  • Reviewing fleet performances for SWISS and its wetlease partners
  • Following up with active participation in various monthly review meetings (routes profitability, fleet wetlease, etc)
  • Participating in the conceptual development of Network Management tools with focus on new methods and technology
  • Collaborating with the various Network Management teams and other stakeholders in all four hubs, with regular on-site visits to Frankfurt, Munich and Vienna
Requirements
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business administration or aviation management
  • Excellent English, German or any other languages of advantage
  • At ease with data and figures
  • Strong conceptual, structural and analytical thinking
  • Very good MS office skills, with focus on Excel and Powerpoint
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel
  • Strong interest in the aviation industry

CHF 2'500.- per month for Bachelor degree / Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education
