For the development of a new module, we are looking for an

Engineering Intern (80-100%)

Tasks

• Plan, conduct, and evaluate experiments
• Develop and validate physical and data-driven process models
• Investigate and characterize system dynamics
• Analyze relevant influencing factors and identify optimization potential
• Develop and test control strategies for various parameters
• Contribute to advanced concepts such as closed-loop control, endpoint detection, and adaptive control
• Perform data analysis and develop simulation and software tools
• Evaluate new operating strategies and hardware concepts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Robotics, Systems and Control
  • Process Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Mechatronics
  • Data Science with a focus on technical systems
• Interest in experimental research and technical challenges
• Good knowledge of modeling and control engineering
• Analytical mindset and a structured way of working
• Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or comparable tools
• Enjoy working in an interdisciplinary environment
