Student assistant (20%) for Network Data analysis in Zürich

ETH Zurich is one of the world’s leading universities specialising in science and technology. The Social Networks Lab develops an R package to analyse and model temporal social networks, such as calls, interactions on social media, and so forth.

Your main duties and responsibilities would include the development and testing of new functionalities for this package as well as the analysis of some real datasets. Our current projects involve the study of football passes between players during a match and the exploration of following ties in a social media website. This position is a unique opportunity for you to develop your knowledge in statistical analysis, modelling, and coding, all this within a highly interdisciplinary, international and friendly research environment. During the semester, working hours are subject to a regulatory maximum of 15 hours per week.
