You are a creative thinker and passionate developer with good communication skills and like to work hands in hand with our business representatives in an agile, cross-functional setup. You show an extraordinary curiosity for new technologies and processes, like to explore things in detail and share your knowledge with your team. Previous experience in agile setups and/or Scrum Master certification are an asset.

You are an expert in Microsoft’s .NET development stack with some experience in application architecture and operation. You know different programming languages, frameworks and technology stacks. DevOps, continuous integration, continuous delivery, container, API based development, mobile and cloud computing are part of your daily business or you are willing and interested to familiarize yourself with these topics.

Your duties

• Engineering, development and maintenance of software solutions and system designs together with the architects using the Microsoft .NET framework
• Shaping the future IT infrastructure following a cloud first approach
• Creating prototypes in close cooperation with the business departments of SWISS and throughout Lufthansa Group
• Co-working with external developers in near- and offshore locations
• Acting as contact person for architects, developer, operations, business departments and requirements engineers

• Software developer with passion and experience in agile software development (Scrum/Kanban, DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft and other technologies such as .NET/.NET Core, C#, REST, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 or Angular
• Strong problem solving skills, extraordinary curiosity
• Ability to work independently and to learn fast
• Good command of spoken and written English required, knowledge of German is an advantage, but not necessary
• Knowledge of cloud native development (cloud architecture and patterns), Docker & Kubernetes is an advantage
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and infrastructure as code (IaC) is an advantage
