In this role your main tasks will be the first level support, purchasing, installation, operation and maintenance of personal computers (predominantly MacOS, with some Linux and Windows), peripherals and applications for the 115 employees of CSCS distributed over 3 locations in Lugano and Zurich. You will also be responsible for all the audio/visual and video conferencing installations at CSCS, including user assistance during video conferences and courses, recordings and editing of these. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the management and support of printers and other central user peripherals. Together with the rest of the team you will support the vocational training of our apprentice as well as our frequent 1 to 3-day internships for young students. Regular documentation and preparation of user manuals round off this position.
