PhD position - Mobility Information Engineering in Zürich

The Institute of Cartography and Geoinformation is looking for a highly motivated doctoral candidate in the area of Mobility Information Engineering at the Chair of Geoinformation Engineering (), starting at the earliest possible date.

The main objective of this PhD position is the development and testing of innovative computational methods for the analysis, simulation and forecasting of human mobility based on spatio-temporal data. This research will be linked to the Action Plan Digitalization within the Swiss Competence Center for Energy Research - Efficient Technologies and Systems for Mobility (SCCER Mobility) and related . The PhD position will be associated with the and supervised by Prof. Dr. Martin Raubal (Chair of Geoinformation Engineering).
