Student Internship (4-6 months) in Zürich

The KOF Swiss Economic Institute is the leading institute for research in applied economics in Switzerland.

You will work in the Section International Forecasts where you contribute to setting up a new tool for GDP components forecasts, a new short-term inflation forecasting model, a new long-term exchange rate system forecasting model or possibly a further project yet to be specified. You will also be involved in the extension of the KOF International Forecasts based on R and knitr and in indicator search in Datastream for the extension of our nowcasting models. We offer insight in the field of macroeconomic forecasting and in the world of empirical macroeconomic research in general. You will acquire skills in macroeconomic forecasting and business cycle analysis. Further, you will boost your skills in statistical programming.
