Flight Simulator Engineer (100%) in Zürich

In your role as a flight simulator engineer you are a member of a team of 20 colleagues. You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, support and modification of our flight simulators including associated computers and peripherals. The job involves complex fault rectification and updates to the overall performance and fidelity of training devices. Thanks to your motivation and sound knowledge of computer science and electronic systems you will ensure the reliability of the simulators and contribute significantly to the success of projects. For our international customers, you are always a competent contact person and provide customized support.

Prerequisite for this diversified role is an Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years industry experience. Alternatively academic requirements may be substituted by proven experience and expertise gained within the industry. Good knowledge of programming languages (Fortran, C, C++), the operating systems Unix/Linux/Windows, TCP/IP networks as well as microelectronics are a must. Experience in the maintenance of aircraft avionics systems is an advantage. Very good communication and English skills complete your profile. Considering the 24-hour operation of the training equipment we require the willingness to work irregular hours.
