Your tasks:

Technical and personnel management of the group, as well as strategic management and realignment of the group
Carrying out failure analyses in electronics for industrial customers, including writing the corresponding investigation reports
Acquisition of projects from industry and research funding institutions in Switzerland and EU
Leading research and service projects in collaboration with partners from industry and academia
Presentations at scientific conferences and writing scientific publications
Supervising students and interns

Your profile:

Master or PhD degree in engineering, physics or related fields with in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering, materials science, physics of failure and physical analytics
Proven industrial experience in electronics, quality, reliability or failure analysis; experience in an academic environment is desired
Experience in acquisition and leading projects
Leadership experience and interest in administrative and conceptual work
Interest in working in interdisciplinary project teams with research and industry partners
Personality with strong organizational and negotiation skills and analytical abilities
German and English spoken and written
