Postdoc in soft matter physics in Dübendorf

You will work in a research project in the field of pyroelectric, piezoelectric, and electro-caloric materials. You will design, manufacture, and characterize different devices and optimize their performance. You will be part of a strong team active at the forefront of elastomeric materials development.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a strong background in soft matter physics, ability to work in a multidisciplinary field, and open to acquire new knowledge. The applicant should hold a recent PhD degree, preferably in physics, materials science, or related fields. Experience in piezoelectric, pyroelectric, and electrocaloric materials is necessary. You will support our PhD students, will communicate results at meetings and conferences, and will write reports and publications. The candidate needs to be proficient in spoken and written English.
