Your tasks:

Setting and using of a scientific monitoring system for the investigation of the operation of passenger cars in Switzerland
Evaluation of tracking systems as well as database and programming environments
Development of suitable methods for data transmission, anonymization and evaluation
Statistical analysis and interpretation of data
Publication of results in scientific journals as well as at international conferences and workshops
Supervision of students

We expect:

Completed study in the field of energy science or automotive applications, if possible with PhD in data science
Experience in the area of big data management (data acquisition, processing and archiving), complex statistical analyses and model development as well as an interest in acquiring or deepening knowledge in new areas
Technical knowledge of vehicle systems and practical knowledge and experience of vehicle data interfaces (OBD) are an advantage
Strong analytical skills and project management skills and ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects
Interest in working in small, interdisciplinary project teams with research and industry partners
Good command of English and if possible of German
