Your Tasks
- R&D on novel composite components for high voltage insulation with 2 industry partners
- Research in the area of structural integrity and durability of materials (composite manufacturing, design of components, strength of GFRP, residual and internal stresses)
- Writing scientific reports and occasionally articles
Your Profile
- MSc in mechanical engineering focusing on composites processing and their mechanics
- Good knowledge of continuum mechanics
- Practical experience in FRP composites processing
- Experienced in analytical and numerical mechanical simulation (finite element method FEM)
- Interested in experimental methods and research on Composites Processing
- Fluent in English (oral and written), German advantageous
