EMPA (European Master of Public Administration Consortium) is a network of European schools, that offer master programs in public administration.
The main objective of the project is to study the mechanism of action of iron nanomedicines in human cells. The candidate will purify and differentiate human macrophages from blood, and use them to study the mechanism of uptake of the nanomedicines. This project is a collaboration with a pharmaceutical company. The project has a 1-year duration.

The project includes experimental work with primary human immune cells, cytotoxicity assays, ELISAs, and flow cytometry. Experience in these areas is considered a plus.
