- Developing advanced etching and exfoliation strategies for MXenes
- Establishing advanced characterization techniques for 2D materials
- Design and execute experimental plans for systematic process parameters studies
- Work closely with the exfoliation group and support them for characterization and application development, in order to establish a reliable MXene synthesis-characterization platform
- Publication of scientific results in peer-reviewed high-impact journals and dissemination at international conferences
- PhD in Materials science, physical chemistry or related disciplines
- Experience with liquid phase exfoliation of 2D materials and their characterization techniques
- Experience in the field of MXenes and their potential use is a plus
- Aptitude for out-of-the box, target-oriented thinking
- Full proficiency in written and oral English
- Self-motivated, open-minded and communicative attitude
