Intern in UX / Visual Design in Zug

You will be part of a team of professional UX designers for Point of Care IT solutions with a wide variety of skills. You will work on real life applications and modern technologies for the healthcare industry. Additionally to creating visual assets for diverse products, you will have the opportunity to support various activities of the user centered design process such as usability tests, storyboard design and LoFi/HiFi-prototyping.

As an intern you will participate in iterative design process and assist in research, brainstorming, ideation, prototyping and testing of solutions.

Main tasks:

• Creation of detailed UI designs for product features including low to high fidelity visual design mockups, wireframes, sketches, prototypes, and supporting design specifications and documentation
• Produce quality design that accurately reflects a visual design language or brand guideline
• Support of UX activities according to the department needs such as usability evaluations or usability tests, research etc. 
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product management in an agile and iterative fashion to ensure your proposed designs meet user needs and are feasible to implement

To be successful in this role you meet the following requirements:

• You are currently enrolled or have recently graduated (within the last 12 months) in the field of Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction or a similar field
• You have basic knowledge of and big interest in UX methodologies
• You are proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite
• You are fluent in English, German is a plus
• You have passion and eye for UI-layer polish/detail
• You are a creative and collaborative team player with the ability to interact with diverse teams and show the ability to accept and give constructive feedback
• You have a good sense of humor, curiosity and passion for design and crafting amazing experiences
