EMPA (European Master of Public Administration Consortium) is a network of European schools, that offer master programs in public administration.
Suitable PhD candidates hold an MSc degree in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or equivalent. He or she ideally is acquainted with the concept of raw materials criticality and LCA methodology, is ready to dive quickly into this ongoing project, has strong communication skills (in English and preferably also German) and is motivated to work in an inter- and transdisciplinary team in St. Gallen.
Suitable Postdoc candidates have a PhD in either of the above listed field. Experiences in the areas of raw materials criticality and LCA, strong communication skills ( in English and preferably German) and the readiness to quickly dive into this ongoing project are requested as well. The Postdoc candidate will spend part of the working time for similar acitivites in further challenging projects of Empa's Technology and Society Laboratory.
Starting date for this position is as soon as possible, with a foreseen duration until end of 2020.
