This internship in Roche’s Informatics organization in Kaiseraugst offers you the unique opportunity to learn more about internal communication and employee engagement activities for our Group Functions Informatics employees in Kaiseraugst, CH but also across main global locations of the department. You will work closely together with the Management Support team covering Leadership support activities, internal communication and employee engagement activities.

During the internship you will:

  • Develop and create communications, including articles, presentations, videos and other materials for internal audiences for the larger employee community
  • Support initiatives with communication planning, editing and reviewing communication material
  • Explore new and utilize creative communication as well as visual collaboration tools
  • Manage and publish content on Intranet, gSite, digital signage and Google+
  • Support the employee engagement colleagues for specific activities and events in pre- and post communication

You are an enrolled student in a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, Journalism, Public relations or related degree area. You bring experiences in the area of communications and social media.

What do you need in your toolbox:

  • Able to work self-reliantly with little guidance, open-minded attitude
  • Good communicator and experiences in writing and/or presentation creation; structure information 
  • Creative mind as well as able to organize work self-reliantly and structured
  • High interest in social media, visual design, branding and ideally with proven experience in graphic design (Adobe Photoshop) and movie making/editing (e.g. Adobe Premiere)
  • Advanced knowledge in Google’s suite of applications (Mail, Calendar, Drive, Google+, Hangouts)
  • Fluent in oral and written English
